Malta is part of the Schengen area. What you need depends on your passport and course length:
Courses of up to 90 days: visa-free entry as a visitor. Longer courses: a national student visa (D visa), applied for before travelling at the authorised centre in your country, followed by a Maltese residence permit.
A visa is required even for short courses. Longer courses need a national student visa and a residence permit. We help you prepare the school letter, proof of funds and insurance in the right order.
